Terms of Service

Last updated: June 5, 2026

Plain version: EzDo is a task-management app you can use for free. Be reasonable with it, your tasks are yours, and it's provided "as is" — it's a productivity tool, not professional or medical advice.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, accessing, or using EzDo ("the app," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What EzDo is

EzDo is a personal task-management and planning application designed to make tasks feel more manageable. Your tasks and settings are stored locally on your device; using EzDo does not require an account.

EzDo is a productivity tool only. It is not medical, psychological, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Do not rely on it for any medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decision.

3. Accounts (optional)

You may optionally create an account using an email "magic link" or Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping access to your email/Google account secure, since that is how you sign in. Provide accurate information, and don't impersonate others or use someone else's account without permission. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us (section 12).

4. EzDo Pro and purchases

Some features may be offered as part of "EzDo Pro." Pro may be offered as a one-time purchase and/or a free trial. Pricing and the specific features included may change over time; any change applies going forward, not retroactively to a purchase you already made.

Except where required by law or a store's policy, purchases are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us (section 12) and we'll work with you in good faith.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app except as permitted by law; (b) use the app to break any law or infringe anyone's rights; (c) attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems or our authentication provider; or (d) resell or commercially redistribute the app without our permission.

6. Your content

Your tasks, notes, projects, and settings are yours. We claim no ownership over them. Because they are stored on your device, you are responsible for them — including keeping your own backups if you wish (the app may offer a local backup/export feature for this).

7. Our intellectual property

The EzDo app, name, logo, design, and original content are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to our branding or to copy the app itself.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

EzDo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data stored on your device will never be lost. You are responsible for backing up data that matters to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of EzDo. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for EzDo in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $20.

10. Changes to the app and these terms

We may update, change, or discontinue features of EzDo at any time. We may also update these terms; when we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use EzDo after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using EzDo at any time and delete it. We may suspend or terminate access to optional account features if you materially violate these terms. Your locally stored tasks remain on your device regardless.

12. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Questions about these terms? Contact us at support@getezdo.com.
