Short version: Your tasks and settings stay on your device. There are no ads, no analytics, and we never sell or share your data. Signing in is optional — if you choose to, we store only your email address to manage your account.
EzDo stores the following information exclusively on your device using SQLite (local storage):
This task data never leaves your device. The web version of EzDo (available at getezdo.com/app) stores the same information in your browser's local storage. It is bound to that browser on that device and is not transmitted to any server.
EzDo works fully without an account. Creating one is optional (see section 2) and does not change where your tasks are stored — they remain on your device.
You can use all of EzDo without signing in. If you choose to create an account — by email "magic link" or by signing in with Google — we collect and store the minimum needed to identify your account:
Accounts are handled by Supabase, our authentication provider, acting as a data processor on our behalf. Google sign-in is provided by Google, subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We use this information only to sign you in and, in the future, to keep an EzDo Pro purchase associated with you across devices. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it for any other purpose.
Signing in does not currently upload your tasks to any server — your tasks stay on your device.
EzDo requests access to your microphone and speech recognition features only to enable voice input for creating tasks. This feature:
On Android, speech recognition is processed by Google's on-device or cloud Speech Recognition API, subject to Google's Privacy Policy. On iOS, it is processed by Apple's Speech framework, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
EzDo may request permission to send local notifications (morning and evening reminders) if you enable this feature. These notifications are scheduled on your device and do not involve any external servers.
EzDo does not include any analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting services. No usage data is collected or transmitted.
EzDo does not use any advertising networks, trackers, or social-platform data services. The only third parties involved are those that power optional sign-in — Supabase (authentication) and Google (Google sign-in) — and they only come into play if you choose to create an account. The core app, including all of your tasks, functions fully offline with no third parties.
EzDo does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because all task data stays on-device and accounts are optional, EzDo is suitable for all ages.
Your EzDo tasks are stored locally on your device — to delete them, clear them in the app or uninstall it (web: clear your browser storage).
If you created an account and want it deleted, email us at the address in section 11 and we will delete your account and associated email from our authentication provider. There is no separate task data to delete on our servers, because tasks are never uploaded.
If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with comparable privacy laws, you have specific rights regarding personal data that a company holds about you — including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of that data.
If you have not created an account, we hold no personal information about you — all of your EzDo data lives on your device under your direct control, and deleting it in the app or uninstalling removes it permanently.
If you have created an account, the only personal data we hold is your email address (and basic Google profile if you used Google sign-in). You may access, correct, or delete it at any time by emailing us at the address in section 11.

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of EzDo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
